Hi to all sensei of automobil,
I just got my self a set of adjustable absorber with Hight/Low and Soft/Hard adjustment of 24 clicks.
Is there anyway to adjust the ride to almost comfort coz currently I had a stiff and bumpy ride on highway.
I m 1st timer on this stuff. I m driving a vios 1.5G 04 installed with Project-S Adjustable Absorber. Current setting is all max soft on front and rear.
Please help and advise coz if not suitable for my ride I might just sell it off and change it back to stock absorber.
Cheers!
Appreciate if you could help and advise.

Hi SC79 and Woodykids,
Thank u for advise. Actually I m a bit mixed up on these absorbers issues. I always tot adjustable absorber will be good and better quality as well as more comfort. sad.gif
Btw, what's the difference between sports absorber and adjustable?
And based on ur expertise, do I have a chance to remedie my bumpy issue without changing it back to stock? I ve been spending almost 3k for this stuffs if I sell it for 2nd hand is gonna loose of money... sad.gif pls advise. Cheers!

I see, well I guess I m the one to blame actually coz the sales person is very professional and he does his consultation with me before purchase. I did told him I enjoy speed cornering at around 70-90km/h. But just didn't ask in details about how much comfort will I get. To be frank, Project-S really amazed me on 100km/h exit corner on toll.. xP but horse riding on highway.. Haiz..
Oh if I reduce the air pressure on my tire will it help?... Hehehe sorry for asking so much..really appreciated bro. Cheers!

why spring need alot money? full set of adjustable spring cost about rm200, just dont get branded one as u hardly feel any differences.

btw TS, try peek at the spring.. there should got write something like 8k250.. 8k is the stiffness, 250 is the height..
or try ask the seller

Added on December 5, 2010, 1:58 am1 more thing, because urs is full adjustable, and vios was light, u try try using 6k front, 4k rear
if too soft, make it hard

Wow! Thanks for that very important info bro. smile.gif I will check it out the spring. Will update the info here if I can see that spring numbers. If not then I need to bring my car to the place that I ve bought the suspension to check it out and perhaps just get the softer spring.
Cheers! Bro smile.gif

Ok bro, I just use a flash light to take a peek on the springs. Front spring stated 18008 while the rear I can't see coz the spring is separated from the absorber.
So, I m not sure this is the right numbers or not. Cheers! xP

now he had tuned to softest setting on the shocks and yet still too stiff.. then perhaps can try buying a softer spring and try 1st.. if too soft, can tune the shocks to become harder.. thats the benefits of getting fully adjustable..

anyway, u can get those unbranded spring at rm200 per set if i remember correctly
im not sure whether thats the proper number but what i saw in my spring is like 8k250 like that

Perhaps I just need to ask the seller again. BTW, izzit possible to fit different brand of spring with Project-S adjustable monotube? Cheers!

Wow! So many feedback. Thank you to all for advise and comment. Yup I just changed it back to stock absorber. Front KYB and Rear Tokico. No choice coz really not my kinda ride. My car has been tested with Project-s by some pros in car modification and they said project-s still soft compared to their super Vios. Well I guess I m too fragile for these performance stuffs. XP.
Yup I m selling off my few days old Project-s with warranty on and picture will be upload tomorrow.
Cheers! And thank u. xD

hi if you want adjustable and lifetime serviceable absorbers
ever heard of titan suspension?
design and engineered by some local malaysian

i fitted in my saga with their suspension and its stiff. the best part is every hole or bump it hits it doesnt hurt much and its still comfy smile.gif

http://www.titanshocks.com/

go to the shop and ask them to bring you for a test drive.

Yup heard about it. Thanks for suggestion but I guess I have learnt my lesson and is better stick to stock. Simple and no worries. Cheers!
