QUOTE(Kampung2005 @ Dec 3 2010, 05:34 PM) Location : PWTC Date :3/12/2010 Campro CPE engine (1.6 litre) Maximum output : 103 kW or approximately 138 HP at 5000 rpm Maximum torque : 205 Nm between 2000 and 4000 rpm hmm.. 2013 F1 engine regulation is also ~ 1.6-liters turbo engines ~ four-cylinder ~ limited to 12,000 rpm. The fuel consumption will be reduced by 35% ~ engine power 750 HP ~ KERS QUOTE(2013 F1 engine) “The WMSC approved the introduction of a new specification engine from 2013, underlining the FIA’s commitment to improving sustainability and addressing the needs of the automotive industry. Following dialogue with the engine manufacturers and experts in this field, the power units will be four cylinders, 1.6 litre with high pressure gasoline injection up to 500 bar with a maximum of 12,000 rpm. “The engines will deliver a 35% reduction in fuel consumption and will feature extensive energy management and energy recovery systems, while maintaining current levels of performance. In 2013, five engines will be permitted per driver, but each year after that the limit will be four.” need to do more works to meet F1 expection. kampung u dont have any tourqe curve graph on this engine. since very interesting to see if the tourqe curve is flat from 2000 till 4000 rpm since campro engines are notoriously known to be high revving.

Proton inching forward but still light years behind compared to something like the VW 1.4 TSI engine. Superior in all areas - Power, consumption, emissions, efficiency, weight. Too bad Proton could could not tie up with VW.
