QUOTE(fisherman10 @ Dec 23 2010, 06:32 PM) guys...how much does a normal screen protector for d7000 cost? Just get the GGS screen protector, among the best out there. are the d90 and d7000 screen the same dimensions and aspect ratio? I used GGS for my D90 and for my gf's D90. Current D700 also using GGS. |

QUOTE(fisherman10 @ Dec 23 2010, 06:38 PM) I thought of getting the version 3 of the GGS which comes with the plastic thing something like the BM11 condom + 2 more pieces for the viewfinder n the smaller screen. but it seems that it not available everywhere. so i thought of getting a cheap one just for safety purposes first before getting a permanent one. now the soft transparent plastic still havent peel off. The version 3 is actually stick on right? I'm using the glass version.QUOTE(chobo @ Dec 23 2010, 06:43 PM) i got that for my d300s.... and i never use it... dont really feel like putting that plastic thing on my screen... but that's just me... i only use their screen and control panel screen protector... Same here, I don't put the original cover on my camera after the GGS is placed on.QUOTE(edwardgsk @ Dec 23 2010, 07:51 PM) Weekend nope, but Monday yes. |

QUOTE(fisherman10 @ Dec 24 2010, 12:01 AM) so one for monitor and one smaller one for control panel. Was quite easy to align actually, very simple. I just installed on my D700's. Perfect!these are the glass ones right? was is hard trying to align it and prevent it from jutting out at the corners? how much and from where? thanks. Added on December 24, 2010, 12:02 am the one beside the escalator is Key Kolor. was is the plastic or glass type? if it's plastic, then might as well use back nikon's ori condom. Btw, side note spam 1 pic XD. Been ages since I spam anything new. ![]() |

QUOTE(chobo @ Dec 24 2010, 10:29 AM) yeap.... it's a whole piece..... that's why i didnt put it on.... I think if put on looks ugly, from the images on the box la that is. Lucky I opt for the older version, looks sleek and clean.Added on December 24, 2010, 10:29 am looks like a nice place... i think would be better if it's a vertical shot.... |

QUOTE(fisherman10 @ Dec 24 2010, 01:44 PM) thanks everyone for their comments on the screen protector. I shall go n check the shops out soon. Make sure both switches are at AF, both body and lens.anyway, just now went to check out a 2nd hand 18-200mm VR1. i can hear the IS working but it just wont focus. any ideas what went wrong? motor jam, motor spoil, motor disengaged? no sound at all from the lens. only the high pitch IS sound. definitely not body prob coz tested with 24-120 before. |
