QUOTE(Bliz @ Dec 10 2010, 05:10 PM) I got 2 batt, always charge one before going out...I will swap batteries after every photoshooting, to make sure that I don't overuse one battery Never really ran out of juice before, was near to draining the D700 batt at KLIMS the other day, shot around 1k pics and still have some juice left i heard the shop ppl say, nowadays lithium batt dun have memory, so, it doesnt matter need to finish it juice oni charge...from time to time, even it left, 50% can charge it aso...what Bliz say is correct, dun overuse/overcharge the batt. it will reduce the batt life..this is how the shop ppl told me...

do you guys shoot and keep a record of the metering setting of each photo? coz i found that once take out, we cant track the metering (lik iso, wb, shutter speed, etc). and this metering somehow is useful for a reference for me...

QUOTE(Kent3888 @ Dec 14 2010, 05:09 PM) SB900 should be much heavier, Mounting a SB900 without battery grip for body like D7000, really pain da fingers +1 just tried out yesterday. it is kinda heavy if you shoot 'landscape', and very unbalance wen shoot ' portrait' >.< if getting sb-900, better to get a battery grip for stablization...hahaha.. mayb i m wrong, 1st time getting so big thing mount on camera...heavy~

QUOTE(adriancs @ Dec 15 2010, 10:35 PM) Lock in exposure manually before the action starts, so that all exposures will have same values. White balance on auto. Fire is almost equivalent to daylight, the camera does very well. AF-C, release priority and 21-point mode. After that, just spray and pray, then pick the better looking shots afterwards. We weren't allowed near the stage due to the fire, else I'd be shoving my 17-35/2.8 right into the scene. Instead I had to sit far away and use the tele. Thx for sharing...so, how bout the aperture?

QUOTE(geekster129 @ Dec 16 2010, 03:51 PM) Download this program: http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/Check the EXIF of the photo, there should be a field called: "Total Shutter Releases" is it true when we shoot, it will be automaticlly save the file name with numbering? eg. DSC_2536. this mean we have shoot 2536 pic? or this just show the pic that have not been deleted?
