I am on Darky's 5.1.

Why do you want to use stock kernel? Darky's has Voodoo option with CWM and root.

You don't have to. I am on no lagfix and there is NO lag.

But to ease your curiosity, I am pretty sure you can flash stock kernel over it so long as you don't enable Voodoo. (I did that for trasig Voodoo on Stock JPU).
If it fails, well, just reinstall another FW, after all your data already wiped anyway.

EDIT: Performance = One word.. SWEEEET!!!

Odd, I don't hear any sexy voice whistling.gif and it was not enabled after first boot

Haha yeah I like the boot animation too.

EDIT: AHH I know why mine was disabled. Its cos I disabled it on the previous Voodoo kernel by trasig. It left a Voodoo folder on my SD card. I guess it had the disable lagfix thingy there.

Anyway, I yanked out clockpackage.apk from another ROM and pushed it into /system/app with root explorer - issue resolved rclxms.gif

I can't be sure bro because I've been uninstalling/reinstalling apps on previous 5.1.
And, upgrading to 5.2 didn't wipe anything.

I do notice MIUI player, which is awesome.

Can't give you # mins or hours because each of our phone content is different (apps/widgets etc.) as well as usage.

But, I can tell you I can now have similar batt life with these:

HSDPA/3g enabled <-- double hooray! thumbup.gif
Auto-sync on
GPS on
all sensors on

Compared to all OFF in previous JPA/E roms I tried.
