unplug cable when flashing through CWM??   do we even need cable when we flash using CWM??   LOL...

reported losing 4% an hour it seems (on xda..not sure post number), but well.. few are saying disable voodoo will help. the rom's flyin even without lagfix.. =D

btw,the battery life in JPO doing well for me

found that darky's rom have many bugs like gps not working,the theme not fully modified,etc...

and also saw that doc's JPU rom has no wipe base rom..does that means all the data will be intact?

have been using Insanity ROM v0.97 and the phone crashes when flashing to ROM 0.99.

so Ihave flashed back to 2.1 Eclair then 2.2 Froyo. So to install custom ROM again, I need to install CWM first right? from 2.2 stock Froyo,theres '3e' in recovery mode..

so my question here is how to install the CWM?
is it 'apply the update.zip' from 3e or flash using ODIN?

is downloading the papago app from appbrain sufficient? do i need to dl other stuff?

since there is gingerbread them for doc's rom,i will go for it then

I see, so between the word disable lagfix should be an "underscore" and NOT "hyphen" or "space".

So, do I create this folder before or after I flash the Rom?

I tested Doc earlier JPU, like it but hated voodoo and speedmod/SO both crashes with JPU and lagfix performance improvement not so impressive.
Darky's relies heavily on Voodoo so, same story.

If you want everything provided by Samsung, then go with Doc or Darky but use the stock kernel to be safe. If you basic, then go with insanity and then add what is needed as and when you need it.

As for new users, get used to the phone first, upgrade to froyo using KIES and learn about the phone ability. If you linux guys, probably take you a few days to figure out what android is all about and probably come out with your own mod after a week.

i tested both.. n both doesnt need lagfix to be applied. plus u can disable voodoo if u dont want althou Darky's come with voodoo auto enable.

stock kernel is ok.. but ppl here want CWM be there as well.. and for me none of it will bring harm as long u follow all the instruction given.

im not a linux guy and i believe most of us here not even part of it either.. but we all share the same interest : we LOVE experimenting

lags when chatting with more than 1 person.
but even if only chatting with 1 person, it lags when both of us are sending / typing msges. lags greatly when keying in words

chargin my phone 62% now.

will try darky's 5.2 when my bat is 80% or more (jus in case!).. if i haven slept off !

all files are ready in my pc

i ve had the disable lagfix folder there dy. it was there before i change to speedmod. i plan to delete it before i start. i ll disable the lagfix later after i install darky's 5.2. perhaps just wana play around wt it 1st

1 plan to do a factory reset and follow the clean guide tho.

1 more thing, i c some complained that the lock screen wallpaper doesnt work. ur s ok?
