speed has gone from bad to worse. 15Kb WTF?!

also please add JENJAROM, KUALA LANGAT, SELANGOR to the list. i thought staying at some kampong going to be spared this kind of f*ckery but TM likes to screw everyone it seem.

I really hope someone can hire some spies to spy TM and then upload all TM's secret information to Wikileaks.

before you do that, please read this first: http://blogs.forbes.com/andygreenberg/2010...lian-assange/5/

Doesn't matter whether he got caught or not, Wikileaks website still running although it keeps on changing servers due to attack.

Now, I only can think of 2 ways to punish TM:
1. Reveal the secrets information in TM, either with or without the help from Wikileaks.
2. Protest.

apparently you didn't bother to read the article. here's the important excerpt:

QUOTE
Would you call yourself a free market proponent?

Absolutely. I have mixed attitudes towards capitalism, but I love markets. Having lived and worked in many countries, I can see the tremendous vibrancy in, say, the Malaysian telecom sector compared to U.S. sector. In the U.S. everything is vertically integrated and sewn up, so you don’t have a free market. In Malaysia, you have a broad spectrum of players, and you can see the benefits for all as a result.

damn the capping is really efficient!

just started downloading a file and speed peaked at 123Kb, but now it's steadily falling. also was on skype with a friend last night and my video call actually dropped! grrrr!!!

how to have multimedia society like this?!

just wondering, for those who complained to the impact email address and got back a reply from TM, does the speed improve from before? because i keep hearing about how TM needs to fine tune the *ahem* new traffic management for each area and wonder if it does in fact improve the speed. i'm more interested especially in users from the low usage area i.e kampung area like my have-to-give-geography-lesson jenjarom.

not sure if anybody has made this observation before but for me downloading from Fileserve is slow, but downloading from Hotfile is fast, as in full bandwidth. anybody's experiencing this?

yeah just noticed that filesharing sites are now fast. but not you know what our backbone is capable of.

of course it won't last for long.

oh yea, forgot to mention.. loading just about any website is way more responsive than before. remember that fellas.

it was fast before they started this new traffic management nonsense. but yea, it's a matter of time before TM's going to f*ck it all again.

Well, it must be a matter of time before they have to implement the data transfer limits for Unifi. If they don't, they will run out of bandwidth. If they do, people may not subscribe. Either way got problem.

The recent Unifi outage does not help in promoting Unifi. They want to cap Streamyx users and that didn't go well either. Now all the more reason Streamyx users will be careful in moving to Unifi as they know what TM is capable of doing to them especially based on their recent covert capping stunt.  After all, this time they have already stated about the Unifi limits right from the start. So there is nothing much users can do when they implement it later.

I think TM now has problems all around. As I have said, what goes around, comes around...

am not holding my breath for Unifi. it took TM a couple of years before streamyx was made available at my kampung area. for all i know Unifi will only come to my house area in another 10 years. so much for wawasan 2020.
