QUOTE(harryfoo @ Dec 3 2010, 10:55 AM) Agree with you. I also willing to pay extra if I exceed the limit of usage. Let's say they limit us 50GB per month, if on that particular month I used 70GB, I'm willing to pay extra. If they charge 1GB = RM1, I'm really willing to pay the RM20 extra. If those who doesn't exceed, they no need to pay extra, fair right? But now they expect us to pay the same amount of money every single month and capped our bandwidth, all the benefits goes to them. Don't think this is a good idea then u need to YES iSP which is pay as u go |

It's pointless doing this, and as consumers continue making complaints and they turn this capping issues off from the grid otherwise let's all downgrade to 384kbps or 512kbps packages :-)

The 1200GB is just an anology lah :-)
Actually the bandwidth hogger are UniFi users nothing being done to them Please note that TM are still selling their product due to unlimited and if they go for volume based like any other iSP they will fakap their revenue and there is no point using Streamyx. Feel free to use this calculator to check how much bandwidth can a user consume if they download 24/7 http://www.numion.com/calculators/Bytes.html You know that bandwidth streamyx is not dedicated so it will be up and down Only 1% of users utilized this much use as many of these and 99% will be blamed for this. |
