kent: both are actually very good. both have their own pros and cons i.e 458 with oversized rims and ugly exhaust while the Scud is not as heavy but the interior is stunning. I would definitely get the Scud first tho since it's not easy to find one nowadays.
Yeah, the Elite Scuderia is quite nice. I know the Super Elite Scuderia is nice.

I agree that they are hard to come by but so is the 458 as well.
Anyway, I got curious last night / early this morning and took the 458 out of the box. Finally.

This was one of the boxes that came before Christmas. Box is a little damaged (as usual

) but the model was fine. Got the camera out and took some shots.

I don't have the Elite 599 GTO or the 599XX yet but seeing the pics, I'll most probably get it too. It's also been a long time since I bought an Elite and from the last I remembered, the quality of the 458 has increased tremendously compared to the older Elites.
Yeah the 458 model is quite chunky in size and weight compared to the Scuderia. But then again in real life, the Scuderia has a weight of 1250kg vs 458 Italia's 1380kg. So in this case, indeed it makes sense that the 1/18 Scuderia is also lightweight.
