sorry bro...confusion. Actually Kyosho DIDN'T do the 288 GTO. Only HW. But even so..expect to pay close to RM500 for the Elite version...especially if it's Red because it's very rare nowadays.

oh my..... even 300+ for elite i also won't accept, so if almost 500 i can strait skip it. if kyosho then i will consider it.
when i was small i remember i got 1 unit of 1/18 of this. a gift from my dad's friend to him. bought from german for $70+ (10years ago), can't remember the brand but it is really awesome. too bad i don't know where is the ferrari now.

Yea. I, for one, would love a "high-end" BBR or even Kyosho 288 GTO...so then I can bring myself to justify the high price but I can't justify the current market price for the 288 GTO...especially since it's not even a new release.

Similar to the UT Mclaren F1 GTR(especially the Orange version) as well.

for HWs, sorry i can't believe anymore.

Aiks ! The UTs are well made given the price they were originally sold. No where to be compared at the same level as the old HWs.

Perhaps he got it cheap?

jchue: haha. Lol. Not trying to diss the UT Macs. Just saying that it's definitely not worth RM600 - RM700 that some sellers are asking for. infact...getting ANY of those UT Macs would make me a very, very happy collector! Lol.

kent: clearly respraying isn't an issue for him because the black looks perfect! and gloss black is the hardest colour to get...perfection. I think if he got the black version...he probably wouldn't mind stripping all the paint as well. lol.

just feel sayang that using grey to repaint, haha.. cause i prefer grey than the black unit.
