can desire be used as WIfi hot spot?
and can it be connected to Desktop pc like a broadband(what is needed to do so? cable?)
can it still receive calls and sms when use as wifi hotspot or connect for desktop for internet?
how fast will the battery drained by using it as wifi hotspot or broadband?

btw, My desire surfing speed with Digi smart plan is slow, cant even update location and weather , cant do video streaming and only fast when I'm browsing LYN, am at PJ so the area shuld be fine right?
the Digi apn setting is slightly diff from the 1st but it was instructed by the DIGI helpline staff, any idea to improve my unrooted Desire's function?

1.does rooting gives the ability to install ahem apps like jail breaking ? or we can install "Cracked" apps without rooting?
2.am using a few apps like Aura GPS and papago from market but all are trial version only and will expired so it can only get the full version with rooting or buy from market??
3. currently I only download apps from market, noted that my internal memory only got 80 mb left, so I that on 2.2 Froyo it's automatically install apps into memory card?
or I still need to install the App2sd ?

got an issue with my stock froyo desire.
my sms message always noted the time of sms wrongly
i.e i receive sms from my bro then I replied
but the time of sms showed my sent sms to my bro at 1857 but my bro sms at 1900.even put my sms on top of my bro sms.
any clue?

would like to root my desire for the 1st time, just I was abit confuse which guide should I follow on the 1st page, does any of the guides there got outdated and not applicable? mayb some 1 can point 1 updated and safe guide to newbie like me?

been reading that you all debating about sense and no-sense, leedroid ,oxygen and AOSP etc search through the net know their classification but not aware of their difference and the basic concept.
which actually further confuse me which rom to pick etc... but will give a good read tonight and see what I can do.
