HTC build quality is superb - at least for Desire.

wow... any new thread. Just flash to RXMix Sense HD rom yesterday night.... it is super awesome!!! anyone must try the HD ROM. It feels like I have a "mini" Desire HD on hand. And if you thought becoz of the expanded features, the system will slow down but it is the opposite - my quadrant score increase from 1400+ with AuraxtSense 8 to 1600+ now.

No other bug so far I use - except my People apps will FC if I click on any contact except myself. Currently using Youlu as temporary measure while i search for solution tonight.

yes, i believe it is becoz some "compatible" issue between the old sense and the HD sense contact database. I restored my contact from Titanium Backup too. wow... to lazy to sync to cloud then sync back.

I click "RING" at HTC Sense.com and my Desire indeed rings!!!!!!!

i dun have any problem except the People app FC due to restore of contact data from Titanium Backup - this is a known problem now. The only solution is to sync your contact to google then sync it back. Some say export the contacts to SD card and import will works but I tried just now not working. So I will reflash again later and sync with my google account contacts.

try setup from scratch rather than restore your data from Titanium Backup - third party apps are fine but those system related data like sms messages, system settings, etc will coz the Desire HD rom to FC. Eg, contacts data restored from Titanium Backup will coz the People app to FC.

just flashed? Maybe need some time to stabilize - you flashed the Data2ext version? Read the first post of RCMix thread and he did mention "In the begining the rom can feel laggy, it is caused by all your app beeing downloaded and synced".

I just flashed 0.13 and it has just stabilize after a second reflash and 2 days of using. I will wait for AuraxTSense HD in coming days before deciding which to flash next.

i think there is something new to the chefs, they have this data2ext now which can actually use the SD card just like it is the internal memory. I have not tried it yet until it is really stable to use... i heard it is experimental... the latest RCMix Sense HD rom and the AuranTSense 8.1.1 (non-HD) use this dart2ext now which free up a lot of the internal memory but you need at least a 1GB ext2/3/4.

did you wipe everything before flashing? just wipe again and reflash if have problem.

Normal use can last for 2 days if no surfing....meaning your 3.5G mobile is off. The number 1 battery drainer is GPS but we dun use it often, so not that relevent. The real battery drainer is the mobile internet connection. It drain battery fast like hell...if you switch it on all the time.

the lockscreen option is not missing from Desire - it is never there in the first place.

which version is your RCmix? I installed 0.13 for my wife's Desire and it become very very unresponsive lately. My wife din feel it coz she is from Symbian so she thought the slow response is normal until i try to set something in her phone then only i realise why the phone so damn lag.

Will flash to ReflexSense tonight.

i have upgraded to DHD and pass my Desire to my wife. Din feel so much difference between the 2 except the screen, especially if you flash HD ROM in Desire. But DHD worth the price if you sign up a contract with DiGi.

But if you ask me, I will wait for the next dual core Android phone if I already have the Desire. I upgraded to DHD mainly becoz my wife SonyErikson is failing so "no choice" need to upgrade and so happen DHD is launched by DiGi.

comparing side by side Desire (amoled) vs Desire HD's screen, DHD's screen "pale in comparison" literally. DHD screen looks wash out the moment i turn it on at DiGi. The colour doesn't looks as vibrant as Desire's amoled screen.

Anyhow DHD's screen size does matter - I think I can't go back to smaller screen size now. I am not saying DHD screen is not good. It is still a good screen just that the colour not as vibrant as amoled Desire.

Did you make a ext2/3/4 before you flash it? I think if you did not make the ext, the bootloop will occur for sure.

I also just flash ReflexSense with 1,280MB ext4. So far so good but can't download the Location Fix, server bandwidth exceeded. Too many ppl downloaded ReflexSense. It come with the new Market too, now the Market is even new than my DHD's.

Yesterday tried to update my Amon_Ra to the latest 2.0.1 with Unrevoked 3.21 but unsuccessful, dun know why but i din test further, just straight away go partition the card and flash ReflexSense.

Just do a factory reset. Home>>Menu>>Settings>>SD & phone storage>>Factory data reset.
