@tyja - CM on Gingerbread... wow, cant wait... rclxms.gif
I tried the GingerVillian but I faced more snags and lags with it than on Oxygen.. And has been on Oxygen the whole week and updated with v2-RC2 makes it even better. Yesterday was a full blast and came back at 3am and unplugged at around 9.30am with the battery at 39%. But all the while I was using the latest radio 32.49.... AdamG suggested the 32.44, so I will try that today and see how it goes...

@xproc - Ahh, nice to see you switching to the dark side, bro... congrats... hope it will go smoothly, bro

its better for you to update your radio to the latest

as for ROM, try LeeDroid 2.3b for starters, or AuraxTSense 8.2,
both these ROM are the closest to the stock ROM
*
ok.... you feel which is better... auraxtsense or leedroid...

-Partition ext2, 3 or 4 wiped (for APP2SD), recommended 1024MB (or 512mb, with 512 you will have 315mb free)
For a best running of rom should do a Wipe Factory Reset and wipe at ext partition

i believe i do not have this ( Partition ext2, 3 or 4 wiped)

Yes, xproc. You need to have 2 partitions on your SD. First a FAT32 and second is the ext2/3/4. Recommended to have it 1024MB cos most of the newer ROMs. You can do that on your PC also easier. Like bro phantomash recommends, I would also recommend the LeeDroid to start with.

@phantomash - how is your Gingerbread doing? The battery performance really astound me with the v2-R2.

but i dling auraxtsense 8.2

i not sure how to do partition, any newbie guide to that? rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Its pretty amazing. I've combo'd mine with Fancy Widget flip clock to get the sense UI look with added shortcuts on the dock. And the addition of gesture options are a big plus  biggrin.gif

What do you means that you can't use setCpu? I've used it back when I was on AuraxTSense and it was fine. The newer versions of AuraxTSense ROM's should come with setCpu with smartass profiles. no?

*#*#INFO#*#* brings up a menu which displays time/usage of the battery/CPU etc depending on the chosen options. Give it a try by inputting the code in the phone dialler. 'INFO' meaning you type it out using T9 on the keypad which of course will not appear as 'INFO' but 4636 instead.

ya... rupa rupanya i block set cpu in superuser....

using 998/245 with smartass is it ok? what is smartass mean, other mode should we use it?
