Some of the Canon IXUS will do.
but aren't ixus priced well over 500?
and is there anything wrong with Nikon digital compact?
well now i rounded up to only 3 brands, it's either nikon, canon or panasonic.
which way should i go?

Personally prefer Canon for how it render the colour. But it shouldn't be any problem in digital anyway. tongue.gif
Lumix with Leica branded are OK as well, but be noted that Leica doesn't mean lens from leica, it's just designed by leica.

In compact, they are almost the same. Some are sensor-based and some are lens-based. I believe that they won't be any noticeable difference. If you require a faster shutter, ISO is your another concerns. smile.gif
