hey guys, i wanna take up photography as a hobby but i know nothing about it.. Judging between panasonic LX-5 and nikon D3100, which is more worth to get?

Hmm... but topping up about rm500 and get a D3100, will D3100 beat LX-5 hands down in terms of every aspect? i dont even know how to play with the settings yet..

well.. tat means get a D3100 for a longer run lo... i dont even know wat`s the use of the additional lens, the 18-55mm one.. wat`s tat for?

But as u said there`s no autofocus motor inside D3100, i gotta buy extra lens right? how much does it cost? i dont plan to invest really much $$ in lenses yet.. just wanna get the angle and skills right 1st.. with LX-5 i dont have to buy any extra accessories right?

guys what is the best price u can get for Sony NEX-3? i found one cost RM1799 free casing, leather neckstrap and 8GB memory card.
is this camera on par with LX-5? |
