with all due respect, i think the dude is just trying to state his opinion. its what this thread for. to keep options open. atleast the buyer aka newbie can widen his choices. and perhaps learn more about camera before he bought any. its not wrong to be fanboys or to love one brand. because in the end the dude is going to choose it himself. stating an opinion isnt a wrong thing IMO.

Since you have decided to take Canon DSLR 60D, go for it. Next time for for price quatation, kindly go to Garage Sales section, not here.
PS: It's around RM3900.

I have no experience in that, but such long range focal length will cause the IQ fall. A good example from Canon EF-S 18-200mm.

Kindly quote more specifications. Budget, specific features, etc.

Canon Powershot S90 will do a good job.

Semi-pro and performance type compact camera for Nikon, only COOLPIX P7000 suits you. Hope this helps.

both produces very good images....yes the ghosting will come out if you did those really hardcore test just to find ghosting, otherwise...it won't appear. even if it does, its nothing to much to be bothered with.

maybe can consider sony tx-9 ..got smile detection one..you mount on a tripod and place it beside the dinner table u might get a lot of interesting shots

60D around 3k++ like that for kit, i think. Try asking skydrake at garage sales. I remember his price was quite nice.

D7000 if you can push your budget, if not 60D would do fine.

Try go PC Expo and try. A33 would be a much better choice in my opinion. Used D3100 b4, dont like it too much lol.
But both are decent camera.

60D is a class higher than A55. But it cost 1k+ more than A55 too. In terms of pricing, A55 is nicer. In terms of picture, A55 can compare with 60D at its best. Furthermore, A55 has 10 fps burst. Lol.

60D and A55 have the swivel LCD, which I love ALOT XD
If you want to try Sony, A55 is quite decent. other than the EVF, there is nothing much different about it. Oh did i mentioned AF during video?

60D has a great body instead. Like the semi solid kinda feeling lol.
