TM guys came yesterday to install Unify. But the TM box seems to have problems and will have it fix by next week or so. I asked a few question I found out something quite disturbing. they said they will use copper wire to link me to the unifi service since my house is apartment. Isn't unifi use fibre optic??

For High-Rise they use Copper Wire iinm.. It will be crazy for the condo management to deal with the amount of drilling and patching up if they where to "pull" the wire throughout the condo =X

In countries where pay tv is deregulated, those USB ports on STBS can be used to plug in hard drives to record your favourite TV shows.

is it only me or the 175.139 IP range is some really broken IP range?

It took like 10-20 secs to load all the local/International page from my side here.

I am feeling the my Unifi FIBER OPTIC is more like 56K now.

From the current speeds UNIFI is providing us.. i dont think so..

(Another Story)
Fiber Optics offer over 1,000 times as much bandwidth over distances over 100 times further.
Basically, Fiber Optic wont have signal loss if its properly laid. Thats for Bandwidth.

for downgrade I dunno. But for upgrade no penalty will be charged.
unifi is new and premium than streamyx. if ur connection unstable, just nicely told them, and they will work their asses off to fix the problem unlike streamyx. tongue.gif
