Pretty good movie. Thank God I read the book so I knew what was going on. The jarring camera scene during the violent kills/deaths was to make the movie PG-13, seeing as how most of the fans of the books are young adults with some 13 and under. I didn't especially like the way the fight scenes were done but meh, that's what you get when Hollywood has to cater to as large an audience as possible. If they make it too gory, like how they died in the books then most of their targeted audience wouldn't be able to watch the movie! =P I cried during Rue's death. Well before that, I kept thinking about how District 11 was gonna rebel due to Rue's death and Katniss' ummm 3 finger salute thing (lol) and tears started flowing (leaky faucet I tell ya!) when it was happened. It was a really touching scene. The ending was kinda meh. I loved the poor Gamemaster's last scene. Poor ******* =D P.S - Jennifer Lawrence is damn secksy! I only watched the movie because she was in it. The way she was handling that bow made me wish she was handling mine... This post has been edited by red streak: Apr 5 2012, 01:10 PM
