Oh no. My Razer addiction starting again.

Lets see what I have in my collection:

BlackWidow Ultimate, Mamba, Destructor, Megalodon, Orochi, Kabuto, Boomslang Collector's Edition, Diamondback 3G, Diamondback, Deathadder (x2), Mantis, Goliathus, eXactmat, m100 and m250 and Moray+, Tarantula and Arctosa, and even the Barracuda Soundcard.
Not to mention 2 Accessory Pouches and 2 Razer Sling Bags and a whole bunch of T-Shirts and Armbands and Hats.

Sigh............. and even though I'm going to go collect my Monster Turbine Pro earphones, tempted to get an Orca.......

Skipped the Lycosa because I had the Tarantula at the time. Then when I started work in an office, I bought an Arctosa for office work.... felt the Lycosa was such a waste in an office environment.

So now, replaced with the BlackWidow........ my absolute favorite........... I looooooooove the clicky clicky sound!!!!

Unfortunately, Mamba > Tron mouse, no matter HOW good it looks.

locksng12, The Orochi is more or less useful as a travelling mouse. I used it with my Macbook Pro last time and was great when I was travelling.
However, if I was playing FPS games on it, I would plug in the wire for better response time. If it was just for presentations and normal Photoshop work, then I would use it in Wireless mode.

The problem with the Mamba as a travelling mouse is the bulky Base unit which you have to bring around if you want to use it wirelessly. Since the Orochi is Bluetooth, you don't have to lug an extra piece of hardware.

Again, for FPS games, Wireless mode isn't suitable, so the battery problem is a non-issue. Remember, in wireless mode, it uses the bluetooth standard, which mean the polling rate at 125Hz to me isn't that top notch. Sure, it has 2000DPI, but at the polling rate is more important to me........

The reason why I like the Orochi is because it's small and compact enough to travel with. And also, on my Macbook Pro, it's small enough to track on the rest pad itself..... no need for mousepads when I'm on the plane flying.
