Yes, indeed the performance, accuracy, precision and its wireless polling rate for the Mamba is best. Nothing out there today compares to it.

And then the bad part are those as mentioned earlier....could not understand why they wanna design the mouse to use a 800mAh battery pack instead of just a rechargeable AA battery which you can get for like 2000 to 2700 mAh which will last a lot more.

With all that said, some of us could not justify the price tag given the above pro n cons.

Would have been an awesome mouse if its priced circa RM280....but this thing is RM430 (when I bought)....so, normally one would have higher expectation afterall its a premium mouse.
*
cos if two AA batts already its about 50% of the mouse weight which obviously makes it pretty heavy.

anyway its a IT world and ur paying for technology...and sometimes just paying for pure marketing.
just like everyone buying iphones, but i for sure think they're crap...

Too bad it requires over 3 volts..maybe due to the performance of the mouse. Most logitech uses 1 AA battery which is 1.5v and it runs for like 3 months in a single charge...  hmm.gif
*
diff category.
try telling me logitech g700 or g7 can run for 3 months while gaming every night tongue.gif

^ good one.

Actually for wireless, logitech does a good job on its battery life vs DPI.

It is always been overkill when DPI exceed 3200, some might say, "hey I need higher" for precision gaming, but I suppose majority of the palm grip + low sensitivity gamers' usage wont exceed 3200 tho.

For me using Salmosa Asia edition, as a finger grip gamer, I find myself hardly using above 1000 DPI (hard switch between 800 or 1800 DPI at the btm). On the other hand, I like Razer TRON a lot(as reviewer claimed it is a finger grip mouse) BUT its price and DPI/other specs obviously an overkill for a finger grip gamer.

Razer should really consider about DPI, tech etc. VS Grip type VS pricing. Of course, while not compromising, the Build Quality.
*
u need to also take into account the technology involved.
eg. a 3200dpi laser sensor will not track as well as the newer 5600dpi ones.
so it should be pretty obvious as the tech improves, so too does the dpi...whether anyone uses dpi that high is a personal choice.
there may be ppl who use 3 monitors each running at 1920x1080, imagine if the mouse was still on 400dpi, it would take a 15 inch horizontal swipe just to cover from one end to the other.
why dont the manufacturers just update the 3200dpi to track better? that u have to ask them tongue.gif

Based on how the sensor required the power and the lighting all that, quite impossible for that battery last for 14 hours, the statement considered bluffing.
*
ummm so turn off the lighting?
also newer firmware improves batt life, and of cos reducing the polling rate.
anyway its like cars that claim can go 100km on 1L, but in real world 1L only go 10km etc...so maybe razer has diff conditions to recreate the 14hrs.

but 2hrs of battery life is too short, maybe a faulty battery.

2. Palm/Claw Grip: higher DPI for FPS gaming(5600), Ergo design, same illumination settings, slightly exp(due to dimension and DPI tech), price range: RM250-RM300
i play FPS using claw grip, and my dpi is set to 450 tongue.gif

i was wondering low sensitivity gamers set like around your dpi , what about the windows sensitivity?
*
win sens at 6.
the 450dpi is set so i can be more comfortable while in windows@1920x1080 without the mouse being too sensitive.
then i adjust accordingly in-game to how comfortable i can do a quick 180.

After seeing all reviews about Razer's higher end products here, I guess I should consider SS Kinzu seriously.
*
OT.
SS kinzu isnt a mouse to be considered seriously, SS Xai is tongue.gif

i think Liverpool got better chance of winning the league this season than finding one...

I think if Razer still release new keyboard like BW Ultimate and with wrist rest design, then i think i will go for other brand product soon.  dry.gif
*
the BW imo doesnt really require a wrist-rest as much as the SS 7G since it sits lower.
L - BW, R - 7G.

so here its better that u dont think tongue.gif and go try first before only coming out with a proper decision.

the concept of switchblade isnt anything new anyway...just that looks like razer decided to fill in a gap in the market.
oled keyboards arent new, so are touch screen laptops like what dell has released recently.
all razer did is combine and shrink tongue.gif

from that, my choice would be another mix - DA + Vespula tongue.gif

i was thinking bout that also. not enough power. but other devices work ok. my headset running ok.
*
im using win7 64bit also.
so yea, i kinda agree its a mobo issue here.

but first thing to obviously do is to uninstall the BW drivers, as the media player keys can work fine by itself, and see if they really work properly.
if still doesnt, well dont ask me to trouble shoot...go bug razer support tongue.gif

another obvious thing if u havent tried yet - try a different usb port tongue.gif

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Jan 21 2011, 10:59 AM)
This should help him to solve the media key issue. But without the driver then the On-The-Fly macro recording shouldn't work as I try the BW during the showcase that without driver installed.
*
but is his problem also with on-the-fly? i dont think it is...
