If USB not enough power then it shouldn't be able to power other devices properly also like an external HDD.

im using win7 64bit also.
so yea, i kinda agree its a mobo issue here.

but first thing to obviously do is to uninstall the BW drivers, as the media player keys can work fine by itself, and see if they really work properly.
if still doesnt, well dont ask me to trouble shoot...go bug razer support

Well, could it be a compatibility issue with your motherboard (specific model etc.)? Perhaps you could ask them (Razer support) if there are any similar reports to yours.

Vespula definitely out of selection, it just crap.

I desired to get naga as well but not for those side panel key but just the ergonomic shape that i really think is super comfortable.

my krait usb was loose, where can i chg the usb ? sometimes the mouse disconnect frm pc then connect again, the usb loose

The USB head at your Krait's cable is loose? That's a complicated issue, perhaps try contacting Ban Leong for some solutions.

i tried every USB port already, same issue. if all else fails, im gonna reformat. if not. then what the heck. just media keys.

eh hold on, that is your only prob? and u are returning it cos of that?
like someone said already, F7 is mute in wmp.

Possible as well, imagine only a single non-powered USB interface supporting a keyboard and all LED lighting, macro function as well.

on BW, fn+f7 = skip backwards one track...unless of cos he is not holding down the fn key while pressing f7...

hello guys! I just picked up a BlackWidow Ultimate, and I have a bit of an issue. Seems that when I open the BlackWidow Configurator, it gives me this error saying that "NO RAZER BLACKWIDOW CONNECTED. THIS APPLICATION WILL CLOSE NOW."

The keyboard is working fine. In fact, I'm typing with it right now.

Any suggestions guys??

Yup I tried with other USB ports, but I think I've found the source of the "problem". I accidentally installed drivers for the Black Widow Expert instead of the Black Widow Ultimate heh heh heh. Thanks for the tip though! This is my first Razer product and they've got quite a number of drivers on their support site haha.
