As per the title,
Is changing realmlist of wow client against TOS? Is it against Blizzard TOS? E.g. Playing wowtaiwan using US client by changing the realmlist.wtf details. Someone brought this question up to me. Blizzard has not explicitly said it's illegal, since the client can be downloaded for free anyway.

ahha i found a blue post on the net saying that it is against the TOS.

if bliz have a prob with it just say you play us,eu, and taiwan servers and if they want to ban you they should refund all your money and time spent otherwise gtfo

Im not in fear that blizzard will come after me.
I'm just trying to be sarcastic to the mod who delete my other thread on how private server helps blizzard subscription, its a discussion. period. why being so sensitive and delete others opinion. As many of u can see, im just trying to grow the wow community here, Why dont the mod just delete my post on wowtaiwan using english client? Why the different? isn't it both also against the TOS? There are MANY ways to grow a community, you dont have to specifically encourage/discuss about private servers. for starters: you can perhaps write up guides, how to start up the game, what to do when you first get on, class guides, what class to pick etc etc. This post has been edited by Quazacolt: Dec 1 2010, 06:56 PM |

should b no prob coz v r modifying client sides.
if blizzard wanna banned us frm using english or chinese client, might as well banned all AddOns also. bcoz all modifications is on oursides n wont effect on their servers. |
