LG just launched the 2x and black in singapore for S$888 (approx. RM2,132.75) and S$768 (approx. RM1,844.65) respectively, without contract. So no way LG will sell 2x for RM1799 in malaysia market.

well, i think:

1. there might be some miss-communication over the sales and marketing department and they put a wrong figure. Or,
2. LG really goes insane and sale the 2x at an unbelievable price tag to boost the sales in malaysia market.

nevertheless, if LG really sells it at RM1799, i'll be the first one in line to get the 2x hottie.

for those of you who want to get the optimus 2x, check the screen for any yellowish tint (and dead pixels too) before paying your hard earn cash, coze' mine got yellowish tint at the bottom edge of the screen.

Foollowing the yellow tint issue of my optimus 2x screen, i went to lg service centre today. the technician said it's not a hardware defect, because the other same unit he showed me for comparison has the same issue, i.e. i could see a very very light yellowish tint at the bottom edge of the screen.

According to the technician, even if he changed the screen for me, the same situation will happen again.
