The screen impressed me, similar AMOLED, color sharp and crisp. Just doubt is it IPS screen ??

Camera quality acceptable. And the 1080 video record looks not much different compare 720p.

Fast performance, gorgeous screen, solid outlook, everything's ok at the moment.

i just get it on last saturday in hongkong... bcz i am pre-book customer, so i get some free gift. The free gift items are
1. carbon original casing (Nakamichi) x 1

so far, the phone goes well... i am new in andriod os...

Akira: I did not try the GPS function be4 this as I guess I wont be using it at all (already own a GPS ), n I cant try it nw cos e fon is not wif me for e moment. Will update after trying it out.

More of the phone:
Did not experience any lag at all although I did not do extensive multitasking on e phone. Battery performance certainly surprised me in a good way, when i got the phone yest nite the battery left like 15%. I still managed to log in an hour or more of call time while navigating thru most of the phone's functions be4 it eventually died. Screen is excellent for me, the response of the screen is less sensitive den iphone (just my feeling) but i personally prefer dat, as it cuts down input error alot for a newbie like me who seldom uses touchscreen on phones.

hello, wanna ask for 2x owner, can this phone make 3g video call? have you try it?

hmm from gsm arena it only have 512mb ram ..

is this too less for a dual core phone ?

Between AMOLED and S.AMOLED, but I think brighter than S.AMOLED.

yes, video call can be made.
tested it out with my buyer last week

yes i have made digi to digi 3g video calls so I can confirm it is possible. the only other android offering that can do this as far as i know is the galaxy s and galaxy tab.

edit: sorry mikecmy beat me to the answer. yes, i am the buyer he mentions in his post!

IPS is only for the S. Korea version of the Optimus 2x.
Others have normal TFT

But this video shows that 2X screen is nicer than IS's S-LCD

The Optimus 2X with its higher specs doesn't seems to be much superior than the Incredible S. I'd like to know how long does the Optimus 2x takes to power on and fully boot ? The HTC Incredible S just take 5-6 seconds
