before i come down to SG, i go through the 1st page like most of us do. But from my personal experience, the 1st page ads are mostly agents. The most effective way in getting a room is go to that area you desire to stay and look for ads near the bus stops. If you have a relative in Singapore, it is much easier if they have a room or their friend have a room to rent it out. Then you can save a lot of trouble.

I had been told by some agents... if I have the working permit, but my gf don't have, then they will not rent the room to us...

Is this true? Mean if we rent a room, both person also need to have working permit? sad.gif

Anyone have suggestion on what prepaid package is most valuable?

I find out the incoming call in SG is not FREE... thus normally they will have daily 60cents deduction...

Anyone using package like Starhub Happy Stars? Is those marketing gimmick or really value for money? smile.gif

Just plan to get a prepaid but not a heavy user yet smile.gif

But this StarHub do not have Free Incoming Call.

Do you know how much is the incoming call charges if I do not activate the Free Incoming Call?

I think I will not receive much calls at the moment...

The Free incoming call is quite confusing smile.gif

the reason why i suggest happy 128 is that when u reload, u got 100SGD local call and 28SGD for international call. And with 100 dollar of local call, i can guarantee you that u can never finish those amount by just receiving call. Unless u receive call for 24/7.

I got 128 package already smile.gif Its really nice to use and thanks for the recommendation smile.gif
