i am currently working in malaysia with salary of rm6k. i have an offer from bank in singapore with salary of sgd4.5k. i have been working for 7 years and i m in a manager post. is the offer giving me low salary pay?

In my opinion, you can request more than that (seem like he is cutting 25% of ur 6k without conversion). Maybe try to negotiate saying you need more since property and rental price so high in Singapore (this should be a valid point). Anyway, it's all up to on you whether willing to accept the offer at that price.

Hi bro Seantang,

Thank you very much for the detailed explanations  notworthy.gif . I did meet all the criteria listed by you so I will try my luck with 85%  nod.gif

err, I thought bro Seantang already informed around 85% in his previous post  icon_rolleyes.gif

Give high figure and say negotiable. Seem like they want you already but just trying to squeeze ur salary by asking u to give a figure first. The best solution is try to ask again and again the recruiter what salary range you should be expecting and then give the maximum of that range and say negotiable. Just my 2cents...

Didnt read wat i write  doh.gif I did mentioned my degree is recognized by board of engineer malaysia to the interviewer, but some how he keep pressing whether my course is some how related to a england degree anot  rclxub.gif he let me feel like being recognized by BEM is useless ~

however, thats not the main point , coz finally he ask me whether i holding EP or S pass, EP will only issue to people with recognized degree  tongue.gif not sure is true anot ~

Many universities in Malaysia are recognized for EP application. Check out http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/pas...stitutions.aspx

I think you are not working on those controlled industries.. ie. Medical / Law / Accounting, so no need to worry about EP application.
