^ my malaysian friend with sg pr and married to a singaporean says only children of Singapore citizens can obtain Singaporean citizenship.
[edit] she says at least one parent must be singapore citizen. so i guess © and (d) would qualify.

Hi guys.
Am currently negiotiating pay package for a junior management position in SG. If my Malaysia salary is roughly rm80k p.a., what kind of remuneration should I be expecting in SG for a roughly comparable standard of living?

QUOTE(keelim @ Mar 17 2011, 08:56 PM) Jobs are plentiful in Sg. Unfortunately if you are the sandwiched class - the class I refer to as fresh grad or less than 5 yrs exp, with dodgy certs, it's gonna be a roller coaster ride. Basically this class is interviewed by the hiring company but assessed and hired by the government. Very implicit observation but if you stay long enough in Sg you will understand. Hmm, can I take this to mean that although the company happily wants you on board, the government still has the final say whether to issue the necessary permits?
