Hmm, my noobiest moment... well, actually I don't really have much noob moments because I'm pretty well read when it comes to WoW gameplay mechanics. Except boss encounters, which is intentional. I try to avoid reading strategy guides as I do not want the surprises to be ruined for me.

Noob moments for me would be like, typing .save after acquiring loot/downing a boss. It's an extension of the habits I acquired while playing on private servers years ago.

Would be very nice if there was a boss where we'd have to copy his emote. If he /dance, we must /dance. If he /laugh, we must /laugh. If he /bow, we must /bow. Else we die. Would be nice to see how many people out of 10/25 get the emote sequences right.

Last night, I had a particularly embarassing moment in Occulus.

I have never stepped foot into Occulus, so after downing the first boss, the three npcs will give you a choice of drakes to choose from.

Being dps, I chose the amber drake, but was wondering why the drake didn't come and swoop me off my feet. I tried to interact with the npc again, but he only gave me more information regarding the amber drake. The other npcs only gave me a choice to switch drake types.

I was like, befuddled there, standing like a noob for about 1-2 minutes. Then I opened up my bags and saw the mount! I used it and then realised I was lagging behind the group, so I tried to find them. The whole place was so confusing, so I kinda lost my way there. Instead of rejoining the group, I managed to aggro some nexus guardians, then I died

Then I got kicked from the group.

Sad...
