As many had said, its very individual preference, similar to picking a car.

If you like very sharp, bright and to me unrealistic clear pictures, then go with LED/LCD

If you like soft, real (cinema mode and not drama like picture quality, which is superb clear like video recording) and like to fast fast moving pictures, like soccer, fast moving scenes like in avatar while the dragons are flying then go with Plasma.

Then can be easily compared, when you walk to the Store, just ask them to play the last part of movie, where the title names would be scrolling, just compare both LCD and Plasma, and you would know the difference between 600Hz and 100Hz

I didnt like LED/LCD becoz to me it was superbly clear (very artificial), and movies had drama feelings.

Hey, both are good TVs different people have diff taste... thumbup.gif

Not true. This is just your assumption. All TV buyers do their own research.

Give it 3 more years, plasma will disappear, Given it another 5 years, only LED will in the market, no more LCD. All this due to global consumer preference and technological development driving commercial viability. 3DTV, LaserTV, holographicTV will come in the next 20 years.

Same thing happened when the CD replaced the LP and DVD replaced VCR.

Wrong analogy, mate, because you are talking whats coming in the future, but we are discussing here what we have at this point in time. LED or OLED might be the future, but it aint here yet. It doesnt make any difference with what you purchase now and the future....
