here below is is my current hardware i was using

proc : i7 920 D0 retail
mobo : Gigabyte EX58-UD5
ram : 2Gb OCZ Gold 1333Mhz
GC : PowerColor 5850 PCS+
HDD: WD Green 1TB
WD 320 Gb
Maxtor 160Gb
WD 320 Gb
Intel X25-M 80GB SSD
DVDRom : IDE Samsung

Problem :
i'm trying to install win i7 64bit into these computer. why is it taking so damn long to install the os into these system. taking me almost 1.5 Hour for the actual windows show up, whats the problem. before these i was using C2D 6300 system. and its quite shorter ( 30 minute i think). first i was installing into Intel X25-M 80GB SSD but the proses stuck at updating sofware on windows installation windows. so.. i install on one of mmy other normal HDD

can anyone.. sifu2 out there can help me? it's it the hardwre defect or i'm in a wrong way to install windows.. thank u. or i cannot install windows into SSD... really need help here..

same problem i have face when installing OS on my i7 rig, taking about 1 hour.. btw wat is power of ur PSU

same problem..when use illustrator, become very slow, lagging.. more slower that my older CD2..psu is 620 watt, 1 tera hd, 4 gig ram, 9600gt gcard gigabyte mobo.. damn slow..

yup, i install on my HDD. feel really disappointed bcoz i hope it faster than my frenz laptop core 2 duo, but slow than that..
i thought at first ur probs due to the lack of power bcoz to much HDD but i think ur PSU power more than enough

but when i trie to benchmarking using the 3dmark vantage it's ok i got 17000++

Maybe you should try running SecureErase on the drive and try reinstalling Windows. That should reset your ssd back to factory settings, and hopefully problem sovled

is your hdd operation (sata) set to AHCI in your BIOS ?

most probably didnt set.
i also didnot set to ahci when installing.
quite a time yo
but it successfully installed

update ur ssd firmware first..it should make ur ssd brand new factory speed again..at least mine did..

but, when i connect the SSD into my external usb controller, it work just fine.. any idea?

is it because the "sata port" your using on yr mb is not those in the southbridge but those extra that uses additional chipset..

you might need drivers for those..

Plug in your SSD into INTEL sata port on the motherboard...
Remove all the other HDD & try to install...

i aready update the latest bios f13j for my mobo n
the think is, i didn't think my ssd is faulty coz when i plug it into the usb port using the external hardik casing,, it work just fine..
