i deal with an owner for a house we interested. of course buy from owner will be cheaper. but he's a foreigner. scare he run away with our $. what's the procedure to buy from owner and how much deposit should pay before we get our own lawyer.

or should we get the agent to do everything for us. i know he's getting agent to sell the house too.
