just got to know from a friend, quite reliable friend, he mentioned that Cataclysm onwards, 10 men or 25 men drops from bosses are the same. the reason he gave me was blizzard made it that way because it is hard to find 25 men raids.

its easy to pug a 25man but cant pass the harder bosses unless you and your friends pugs together, so naturally the 10m instances are more favorable then the 25m if they drop the same loot.

if they drop the same loot no1 would attempt 25m lol

they will probably make the loot slight better at 25m tats all, not like current 10m n 25m differences

if i recall correctly from some blue posts i read, they share same drop

people would still go for 25 men because there will be more loots compared to 10 men

just an example:

how many runs do you think u need to gear up yourself when raid boss drops only 2 items in 10 men, compared to 5 item drops in 25 men? (well, both share the 1:5 ratio)

i think there would be more benefits for huge guilds as they can level up their guild faster and the loot (in gold) should be more compared to 10 men.

It will be the same loot tables but the amount of loots will be determined by the raid composition (10/25).

10M raids will be hotter than 25's afaik cuz it requires less wait and coordination.

Yes its true. 10man drop less.

And both 10man and 25man share the same lockout.

consider this time max lvl is 85

so after i say 3 months every1 will probably pug 10man lol while large guilds will attempt 25m

Actually I like the idea, because 25 man raids can be pretty intense (read: bad) for people with poor internet connection.
10 people in a raid is just nice.

But 1 noob can completely kill your raid You can't cover for 1 person because he's a big percentage of heals/DPS in 10-man raids.

Most guilds that raid 25 man now are staying with 25 man raids.

My guild is in a mess bcause of this change. Blizz said 10 mens in Cata would be tweeked to be slightly harder though.

Thats cos 10mans in Cata now are quite a bit easier than 25mans. They're tweaking it to be similar in difficulty.

difficulty is not much of a matter, finding 10 "not-so-noob-player" is not as difficult as finding 25 "not-so-noob-player"
