4820TG has a slight edge over Dell's in terms of battery life.
But not a big deal. It's negligible for me (since battery life is not really my concern, just me).

IMO, 4820TG looks much sexier and slimmer than Dell's.
Yes, it is the look that matters, too.

The 2499 is already with the cash redemption. Not 2499-200. This is only for online offer.
It's new so the retail price is still unknown. My guess is it is probably cost around 27++.

imho, this is better than acer 4820tg
its 15" and 4gb ram while if u buy acer u have to upgrade yourself
and dell has better warranty

Basically it's window 7 cd any problem with window just format and reinstall.
Complete cover will protect you from accidental damage. Can downgrade to 2 years and buy your accessory.
It is also a good selling point if still got warranty.

kinda pricy ah

No one can guarantee whether the laptop is durable or not. That's why i extend my Qosmio warranty as an insurance for my laptop in case something happen in future.
