Gheyarena will get thier hand sooner or later...but they won't become official host for BO servers, assuming GS got common sense of judgement.

All in all I think Fragnetics is far better than that fake LAN that full of cheaters and *ahem*, hope they get the privilege for hosting BO servers in SEA.

hey guys, estimate about what time will the SEA server be up??? coz i'm slowly getting sick of BO bcoz of laggy servers..

S2games have no common sense of judgement...bleh!
i dunno fragnetics but as long as they are able to provide us SEA players with low pings and stable server and cheat free environment.

lol still no SEA server..fak GS

which mean.. im gonna buy B.O.. after i give up already. when SEA server not available. no point playing laggy games where i cant perform 100%.


p/s now waiting WoW to be available around SEA, for <100ms ping.

I applied YES 4G and apparently it gives a better latency to Japan servers only. Australian servers are even worse with it though

i love COd,but i'm tired being shoot bcoz of lagg.there is lot of diferent betwen 3~5 sec in online shooting game...

3-5 sec? thats impossible... you'd be autokicked from any server for that, I think.... 3sec = 3000ms? >_>

actually. 300 ping is about 0.3sec, but that is u to server, the enemy side also need feedback if ur bullet hits or not, and so on, so total added up u can feel the lag is around 1sec cause the data actually been through few loops, especially in 300ping, there will be some data loss for sure due to netcode compensate.

eg, normally m16 about 3 bullet hit then the enemy die, but due to the lag compensation, it usually take 6 bullets due to 2 or 3 bullet lost. and about 0.5sec delay on screen that made u shoot another 3 bullet burst to enemy while he actually already dead.

TRUE! i'm so dispointed when it always happen to me :-(

this actually make u missed a sprinting guy when u can see u aim exactly where he is, especially when he also is lag.

im quite good at FPS CoD, this delay will surely cause me dissatisfaction in game.

in the mean time just gonna crawl back to Starcraft2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2. or some Gayrena RTS

sigh. Sad no SEA server yet. Can tell you that as soon as SEA server up, black ops sales increase, and alot more asian players out there pawning whining kids

god still havent seen any update from GS

now ping to australia servers raise, and even some lowest ping australia server admin started to kick non AU/NZ players

so uh, cant play black op right now, maybe i go bad company 2/vietnam first

Same here And they wondering why so many of us going for the jack sparrow version... this is exactly why, who would spend so much to play 6 hours of single player anyways

Being an owner of an original copy of the game, I'm so looking forward to alterOps. We might actually host our own regional server with it.

really depend on ur isp, previously i was usign streamyx it was around 200+, then i upgraded to unifi it became 100+

by right, you should get 90-120ms to aussie/jap servers.

Agreed, which is still very playable. I've never gone above 150ms on those servers.

Nope there isn't. Nowadays with my Streamyx, I can even join German and British servers at 270 ping. Welcome to Malaysia

wonder why streamyx doesnt seize the opportunity to setup game servers. This will surely boost sales. If i was one of the 3G/4G providers, I will push for game servers.

That's because Streamyx don't even care or bother They monopoly the whole Internet business in Malaysia so whether they work hard or not, business as usual.

If they do eventually get SEA servers running, people most likely won't care as MW3 should already be out by then.

Yeah, the article must've been written in September last year, judging from the comments section. It's been more than half a year and still no deal cut? Either our ISPs suck or GameServer sucks.

MW3 SP are still interesting... or may be they will allow us to host own game? or more server provider with sea religion and not give GS.com to monopoly their server. honestly i already lost my heat on COD series

Last I checked apart from minor performance hiccups the PS3 version is identical to the 360 version, even in terms of online connectivity

Random hangs, stuck at "Waiting for other players...", lag, sudden screen freeze for 1-2secs etc. It's not PSN fault, it's the servers while 360's servers are more stable.
