Yes worth it, dota is the fastest and the biggest growing community, sc2, hon, leagoue of legends, wc3 all have dota. Its bigger than cs community

worth..i'm from COD4 player too..i play COD4 since 2007 until early 2010..then i change into dota n quit COD4 coz my clan leader n some of our player starting to working(finish studies),so they don't have much time to play n training..

yeah, no one care actually, in fact they just won thousand of dollar and nobody cares.
if you live in malaysia, then yeah. our govt doesnt support cybergaming as much as china do. this is how i see in gaming network. play>get recruited>sponsorship>retired>recruit ppl>being a manager>find sponsorhip for them. so at least, you might stay up until you are 35 years old XD after that, yeah. you were alone without any work, all left is your name (if you are successful) |

In China, e-sports is a recognized sport. It was officially announced as China's no. 7something sport IIRC. Therefore, over there you actually get recognition. And companies will pay for your training. Over here pulak, not worth it lorh. You don't get much recognition, get damn little money and that is ONLY if you win competition. Maybe if wanna play gotta go China and hope ppl find out bout you den hire you. Make petition lah make e-sports a Malaysian national sport
