subwoofers need a wooden surface to thump against for the best sound. How the hell is any one getting it into a phone?  laugh.gif
This phone looks like it will be a C6-01 and C7 competitor... and from the picture that you posted (the 2nd one), also will come without AF  doh.gif
*
If this phone is indeed true, it's more of a competitor to C7. smile.gif

Nokia should try to balance out the hardware with a more balanced phone instead of a phone which is having contrast features.

It gives a variation and choice of design vs feature. Unlike iPhone which provides a 1 phone for all concept which is kinda creating the boredom atmosphere, doesn't it? biggrin.gif

well look at n8 announce in april but released in msia only in nov... i guess it'll probably take around the same time for x7 as well...

=D if it's another winner... i think it'll sell as well as n8...

X7 might have 1 potential buyer here or maybe not. I might buy this for music or I might get a Cowon J3 for music. Will see how it goes. Money being the factor biggrin.gif

Usability is way better. Don't talk about half-an-inch difference. Even 0.3-inch difference makes a big difference. I felt a very big difference between X6 and N97/N900. The slightest increase in size is a big improvement on usability and viewing comfort. smile.gif

abit sayang lar the built is plastic... oh well.. now the cost is low... now is the pricetag...
*
The pricetag is not low. The price reported by GSMArena is to be 370euros which is more costly than N8 which is reportedly 350euros on the same site.
Inferior build quality, with an inferior internal storage and inferior camera compared to N8 with a higher price, how would that fare in the market? yawn.gif
And don't forget to remember its display though similarly sized with E7 is not of Clear Black Display.

laugh.gif Wait slowly larh. Now qHD at max only for mobile phones. "Slow slow wait" biggrin.gif Especially Symbian-equipped Nokia. Windows Phone 7 devices ("Microkia") for some reasons is going to get a resolution bump compared to Symbian devices by Nokia. I don't understand. Is there some kind of limitation in Symbian which has its resolution maxed at 640x360? unsure.gif

My bad smile.gif Really not Clear Black Display. Check Nokia website. Compare the specs sheet of E7 with X7 and you will notice it. smile.gif

But I want N9 more. Rumor of it being 1280x720 reso screen is awesome. Maybe all along Nokia was waiting for Toshiba to have these screens before manufacturing them. biggrin.gif

Nokia X7 and E6 Symbian Anna phones start shipping into obsolescence
user posted image
While we eagerly await Nokia's first Mango device, millions of others (we're told) have been patiently anticipating shipments of the first Symbian Anna smartphones. Well, today's the day, good sir. Nokia just loosed its 4-inch X7 media slab and E6 portrait QWERTY with 326ppi display into the shipping lanes. Look for the E6 worldwide while the X7 will skip the US carriers (as expected) targeting the friendlier Symbian climates of Europe, Eurasia, China, India and other countries around AsiaPac. Huzzah?

Nokia Malaysia still don't have pre-order option. And £399 after conversion should be around RM2000. That's a lot for a phone with dying platform and only 8GB microsd included without internal storage.

UK has one of the highest VAT in the world. Surely less than that.. Still, would you buy this over N8?
*
N8 is very cheap so it's much more tempting than to get an X7. However, most people would go for X7 over N8 because of the screen size, well at least that's for me. X7 will come over E7 if someone doesn't need the Qwerty or in fact don't doesn't want it since it adds extra bulk and more fragile.

It really comes down to price now.

Oh, and if Nokia could have given X7 some perhaps 32GB internal memory with Card slot expansion, X7 could have stood a better chance instead. smile.gif
