There's a reason why this thread is called "All Things Gran Turismo" - because this thread encompassed all Gran Turismo games. See how slow the thread went from GT5P - till now? before this got GT4 thread and that only last a few months.

Trust me, the hype will die someday because not all PS3 player here are exclusive GT player. Like me, i also play Uncharted, FIFA.

Classic example - Look what happened to the NFS HP thread? and the F1 thread - all i see is the same people post over there.

It doesnt help the case for a separate subforum when you guys just post - "i agree", " sign in" - to the mods that just spam. You guys should post something constructive to support the cause.

What I say is, just use whatever is available. If All Things Gran Turismo is created in a subforum, no casual PS3 player would know that GT5 is now available. Because of this thread is in the console couch board that casual player are intrigued by GT5.

If you wanna hold a league, just use Competitive Gaming board. If look hard enough you'll see there's MSR thread there.

You see what we did to make people aware of rFactor and MSR is,

i- Is to create rFactor thread in the main Gamers Hideout - in there we talk bout the game and we link that
ii. To our dedicated season thread in Competitive Gaming board.

If we just created the MSR thread in the Competitive Gaming board - no one will ever know what MSR is ( I bet some of you guys didnt know before this). Even tho we have our own forum now, we still continue to have a thread here in lowyat forums for awareness.

I'm not against the idea, its just i dont see the need for it yet.

True, but other games does not really feel like RPG and properly masked. Sometimes GT5 can feel a tad repetitive, you race, you get money, level up, loop again, kinda like Japanese RPG, which sadly has lost to it's western counterparts

Yes. I expected a better multiplayer experience. But last night kinda pissed me off with a Hongkie ramming everyone when people trying to pass him. Heck, I even gave him room as big as his ******* when he tried to pass me but he rammed me instead. We need passworded servers. And not only that, servers that you can specify not only HP, but weather it's FR or FF or the makes of the car.

i tried using NSX last night..
default car it self already hard to control.. dangz..
too much power la the car..

i buy the NSX without looking at the price..

i think now my B-spec driver is much better driver then me.. dengz...

I got all Golds for License B tests. Tried multiple times at certain events but managed to pull it off. My lap times are not really good. Some I just managed to scrapped through by 0:00.10. There's a few event that I feel I got lucky thou. Anyway, things are difficult for me as I'm just using DualShock 3 Wireless Controller at the moment. I'm not sure if I'm splurging for a Logitech Driving  Force GT this weekend.

any of u guys here using UNIFI to play MP? my psn keeps on disconnecting.. any1 encounter this problem? got solution? thanks..
