No. 1 . Please read about Standard and Premium model in GT5.

No. 2. There's what we call the optimum view distance of LCD TV. You can google it yourself. for example for 32 inch LCD TV, the optimum viewing distance is between 7-10 feet.

bind your gear shift? hm..i guess u r saying that you wanna configure the buttons at the front of the wheel as your gear shifting buttons..correct? erm..actually u don need to cuz DFGT has a "paddle shifting" like buttons at the back of the wheel..it is not as good as those g series wheels (25/27) but it allows you to change gears by pressing it..left side button = shift down, right side button = shift up...
