some EA guy has said the tentative date for vietnam is dec 8th.
tho if the hopeless romanian QA, which makes roy hodgson look excellent, has a say in it, expect it to be delayed more... the new patch that was suppose to be out last week, and got delayed thanks to romania is suppose to be released today after fixing...with map pack 7 coming dec 1st... so since that patch is not out yet...looks like everything following that will be delayed also. If you bought ur BC2 from EA Store or Hardcopy from seller , must still buy from EA Store to open Vietnam Steam users need to buy from Steam Store , then can active Vietnam... Well thats what i think of it... |

Steam users can activate it also via Steam Store... Right now there is still no news whether got or not serial pass if got sell |

Btw when i reinstall my bc2, does it mean i have to update all the patches 1 by 1 or is the latest one a cumulative patch? All the patches for bc2 are very large and some more tmnut are capping my connections  |

I foresee there's gonna be a hell lot of snipers after this. The M40 just simply owns, 1 shot kill most of the time. And snipers have mortar and TNT at the same time, coz now no more motion sensor.

Heard tat if get burn then hav to find some water sources or a med kit within 7 secs. If not then goin to burn to death. Is it true?

Finally managed to get a couple of games!
But the game still having some of the problems that makes it much less accessible to newer players. 1. players switching to winning teams 2. no scrambling of good players around, so one side will often be stacked, causing huge imba in public games, which is where most casual players will play anyway. I played like... 10-15 games and every one of 'em is one side steamrolling the other 3. spawn camping At the end of the day, for a casual player, MW2 or BO is definitely more accessible. But darn it, Vietnam is sooooo beautiful. |

most rage moment in vietnam
story 1 played in frags last time, my team camps at the deployment base (kena base rape edi) few tries to slit thru baseraper lines, got pass then free 3 knife kills (snipers on hill busy baseraping) manage to go to the furthers flag , wait for squadmates to spawn (they still spawn at main base) zzz story 2 manage to again rush to the furthers flag . find a good spot to hide. ask team to spawn. suddenly kena switched to the other side by admin. zzz thats why prefer best to play with people u know. |

the sneper scope, i can't get used to it, i mean, sure took me long to get used to take down heli is easy actually, machine gun them, displace and machine gun them, not to mention keep reviving dead comrade |

The firefights are more in your face now.
But the way the maps are created, it's sometimes hard to know where the general direction the enemies will fire from. |

Okay....
-Vietnam feels smaller than most bc2 maps, i dont see any vietnam maps with more than 3 cap points. -Vietnam somehow is more optimized than bc2, maybe its the smaller maps but overall feels smoother than bc2. -Smaller/linear maps also contribute to more chokepoint fightings. Cant say its better or worst than BC2 -Environments and weapons models definately finer and has more "character" than the bc2. -Bumped up weapon damage. Weapons feels very beasty now. -Awesome Vietnam War theme. -a bit bumped out by the vehicle and weapons selection. No emplacements. But its just $15. |

just now i went to tropicana city mall.... got 2 shops that sell games... one is gamershideout.. another one i didnt know the name of the shop... gamershideout got sell the vietnam expansion which cost RM99... came with box n cd n manual i think... then another shop got sell code only which is cost RM59.... at TBS and EA store how much it will cost?? around RM59..?? |

want to ask how come vietnam version only rm59 so cheap compare to bc2?
