Haizzzz... playing for 2 days. Only 2 times did I ever had close, competitive games. The rest are always one side steamrolling the other.

I hate Conquest mode.

Yeah im too used to rush mode. Playing conquest feel pusing

and the losing team will join the other team

Just checking in with you guys who played this longer.

What do you think about Vietnam? Are the maps better designed than the vanilla bc2 maps? Not interested in what other sites think, I want to know all of your opinions.

love driving tuk tuk , getting the soldiers here and there

the maps are ok , jungle setting , too bad the sniper doesn't have gillie suit yet else , hard to spot them

I also like how iron sights are available only except sniper rifles.

PS. Hard to destroy heli oh Any other tips besides machine guns?

It's an excellent expansion for BC2.

Completely different setting, unlike BO's garbage Vietnam where you still see modern weapons. BC2:V is all about muddy, rather old weapons, with no modern perks on it. It feels more raw, and you tend to die faster in BC2:V.

Note that there is one garbage map, though, Vantage Point. The first rush point is very badly made. The other maps are quite good.

the sneper scope, i can't get used to it, i mean, sure took me long to get used to

take down heli is easy actually, machine gun them, displace and machine gun them, not to mention keep reviving dead comrade

lucky shot with the rpg or the grenade launcher ?

Try sniping the pilot , i tried it once in Vietnam

New maps and totally lost.. Run like headless chicken on the hamburger hill and eventually become hamburger myself

The firefights are more in your face now.

But the way the maps are created, it's sometimes hard to know where the general direction the enemies will fire from.

like the retro feel, and it sure looks like our kampung where we play in muddy water when we were boys.

Okay....

-Vietnam feels smaller than most bc2 maps, i dont see any vietnam maps with more than 3 cap points.

-Vietnam somehow is more optimized than bc2, maybe its the smaller maps but overall feels smoother than bc2.

-Smaller/linear maps also contribute to more chokepoint fightings. Cant say its better or worst than BC2

-Environments and weapons models definately finer and has more "character" than the bc2.

-Bumped up weapon damage. Weapons feels very beasty now.

-Awesome Vietnam War theme.

-a bit bumped out by the vehicle and weapons selection. No emplacements. But its just $15.
