Hi guy i just updated my rig recently as below

cpu: i7-950
mobo : ASUS RE3
ram: normal corsair 1333 ram

I am using thermalright ultra 120 extreme cpu cooler and I just replace the thermal paste and clean it when I install this new rig. I found the cpu core temperature is quite high.... I just check the temperature, it is about 60 degree for 50% load (i guess) in rainy night... fully load is about 70++ if i not mistaken.

Compare to the thread in this section I found my temperature is really IMBA, how come most of the people can reach 50++ degree without using water cooling ~ I try to OC to 3.4 (little try) and the temperature is killing me it is almost 90 rclxub.gif

I really dunno what happen, maybe I have poor airflow ? But i think it should be ok .... I managed it.
Any help icon_question.gif

it has something to do with your vcore.mind telling your vcore?
if idle should be below 50C.if 50% load sure can reach 60C.

a pair of good airflow fan ath the HSF should help reducing the temp.btw double check with others temperature software?Try turn off the HT,might help reducing temp.
