personally i believe you can get far better quality products than lebensstil. google throws this info (albeit only one comment):
I bought Lebensstil ceramic hob like VEES Delicooker and also bought Lebensstil hob...the after sales service like shit. The cooker hob are so poor, im so regret getting this brand prd!! http://alamsanctuary.77forum.com/home-impr...liances-t55.htm in my opinion, i'd rather go for quality european or japanese product. so i sort of blow the same tune. |

Actually quite normal to have defects thatz y they have customer service. Even Mercedes has defects. However, a reliable brand will have lesser problem and most important is the customer service mus b good

it's not me - its the only comment i found through google. but on a serious note: pensonic is not exactly known for quality. i have stopped buyingt heir junk years ago cause whatever they sold to me turned out to be crap. putting a decent design and a funny name around their stuff doesnt make it better imho.
i have great experience with products from bosch, electrolux, fagor, miele and some other brands. with hobs, hoods, dishwashers and ovens i am very happy with fagor, miele and bosch. i am using them all in my current kitchen. had an issue with a bosch fridge before, called the service and had a next day fix. they offered same day but it was late and i just moved the stuff to the spare freezer instead. service staff was fast and efficient and no fuss on the warranty either (was under extended 5 yrs warranty). for kitchen equipment i personally think you have to spend a certain amount to get a product that can last. its just not possible to say produce a good dishwasher for 1000 RM (just an example, dont pin me - i dont even know if lebensstil makes dishwashers). if i have a choice between pensonic (or a badged pensonic) and (almost any) other (non-chinese besides heier) brand i'd probably take the other brand. |

The vendor showed me some products of electrolux, elba and lebensstil are actually made of the same parts ..under the "skin". anyway, i took lebenstil hob coz its the only design which comes with sturdy cast iron & undermount burner. i didnt like those thin wire types, even expensive brands like teka and bosch have those. guess i went for form .... Lebensstil Kollektion is not made by Pensonic. Pensonic is just the sole distributor in Malaysia who also distributes other international brands including Princess, General Electric and Gaggia. Kollektion Distribution Sdn Bhd, a member of Pensonic Holdings Berhad, established since 2002 has now become the foreword in quality home kitchen appliances. Once in Msia, they have to add Sdn Bhd for the company, right
Lebensstil Kollektion simply means lifestyle collection in German. Lebensstil Kollektion has been conferred The Honourable Star Awards for its outstanding range of kitchen appliances. Other awards include New Innovative Design, Design Excellence, Consumer’s Choice and Editor’s Choice from various publications and professional bodies, further attest to our brand’s philosophy and design excellence. U guys can check it out at http://www.kollektion.com.my I myself am looking for hob, hood and oven. M still searching, that's how I come across this discussion |

ho ho very true indeed. Almost everything is made in china nowadays, including the famous apple products. Im working in a manufacturing line, so what i can say is that it doesnt matter where the factory is...whats important is the quality control.
i like lebenstill's design as well, and im pretty sure performance wise its comparable with others. only thing that bothers me is their after sales service...dunno the support good or not LOL |
