Formatting more than 30 minutes d still ntg happen one?

I think you got to manually create partition for your emmc, i follow this steps:

"If your installation hangs on [Formatting /dev/mmcblklp2 (ext3) ...] then follow the partitioning instructions here"

i followed this method to partition...took me a while to understand...i also followed the method given for 0.0.9...Gingerbread can also be applied using this method...

Err...the mydocs in this case is in home/user/Mydocs which accessible through ssh or the nokia n900 default folder (when connecting using mass storage). Or ot's the same ? =.= !

I only know hidden folders will have "." infront filename...

Hello, I just bought N900 yesterday.I facing a problem. My Firmware is 1.2 . After I click Apps Manager, don't know why
it looks like stuck in" checking for updates,please wait". I wait it quite long, but seems nothing happen

hi there..and welcome to N900 club..for a better start, you could refer to front page for some tips to extent your N900's capabilities..

also, on the Front page has the guide for updating your N900 manually..to be honest, it is better for you to manually update your N900..

first start, reflash your N900 to the latest firmware and also flash your emmc aka 32GB internal drive..

why my nitdroid can scan the wireless networking.. but just cannot connect to the wifi?

**Ths scanning part keep on "scanning" for 5 minutes even though i had also key in the wep key..

it says ur current kernel is omap??

did u acidentally rebooted in default kernel?try reboot again with v46

guys....need some help here...my n900 is not working..it cannot boot...here is what was happened..

i try to update some of the software via wifi at my home..leave the phone without connecting to the charger....so i thought the battery flat out..now i've recharged the battery...flash the firmware..still not able to boot....when i push on power button..it came up with nokia logo..after some time it just disappear..anyone able to help me??

symptom like the battery still not charged...but check with multimeter, seems to be working..i just dont know what else to do..havent try with other battery yet....

appreciate your help....

Try taking the battery out then in, and rebooting

Rvin...i manage to flashed the rootfs image to the latest version..but still not able to boot up...then i try to use method B as suggested..it stuck at the after booting the device in flash mode and try to detect again the device message..so i would say i'm not able to format the phone....any other way i can do it???
