seems like battery drain lots after oc=S any solution?
*
i use QCPUFREQ.
i dont know how good it is, but i can control whether i want to use OC or not
there is an option to enable OC mode or not.
it work with official & patched kernel.
check it out.

Jananan.....hahha....why is it? does it because of the fixed frequency or the starving voltage that i apply to the frequency? biggrin.gif
*
1000Mhz fixed at that voltage wont let the n900 cool down...

it wont burn out immediately but surely long term thermal issues...

if its got a big heatsink and fan then even 1500Mhz is ok... but its all packed in and no ventilation...

the actual processor temp can get very very high....

the s/w that reads temp from N900 is reading battery temp, not the processor temp, dont be fooled...

My battery indicator acting funny now...
Totally dried my battery today.Recharged back as usual(the led indicator working fine).
But at the task tab the battery still on 0% rclxub.gif
No problem with the battery because my phone still working as usual.

Anyone know any command to kickstart back the battery indicator?

Been playing with my N810 for a while now, and gotta say that I've found my first killer app.

Knots2

It seriously makes streaming my media content from my lappie to be much easier than before. I'm using Ad-Hoc connection and the vids just streamed smoothly. Totally recommended icon_rolleyes.gif

Great!

My killer app has to be Jagged Alliance 2. I mean, it's JA2 in my friggin pocket (even if it's modless) - fans of the game will understand the sheer lunacy of that very fact as previously the ONLY mobile way to play the game is by getting a netbook or a UMPC.

And it's slightly better on the N810 compared to the N900 because of the larger screen IMHO. Haven't tried baldur's gate (GemRB) yet tho heh.

That and Tear, even IF I need to use it with leafpad for long text entry because it locks up in LYN so much when I'm trying to reply to you guys. It's not as good as microB on the N900, but it's okay lah.

Plan on setting up knots2 sooner or later, malas to play around with VLC on the computer side lol. For now I just manually re-encode everything to 400x272 mpeg 4 and stuff them into my MicroSD.

Tried it already...
Doesn't make any difference..

Sigh...I guess another reflash is in order...I do have to reflash anyway because I'm planning to move NITDroid into eMMC.

What things did you removed from NITDroid?
