Bought it at RM1299, with a car charger.
8GB memory card is a surprise to me, I was expecting 2GB only.
First day of using, so far kind of ok for me.
Internal memory is small, only left 100MB+ for user. A lot of applications are not App2SD support yet.

Acer smartphone is unpopular, not many shop are selling. Don't expect much accessories available, Liquid mt is new modal, therefore not even screen protector is available. liquid mt is not make of gorilla glass, got to extra careful on the screen.

Some review say the photo shoot is toward the red side; so far didn't notice the reddish on the few photos I took. The photo quality is on the down side, lack of details even though it come with 5MP camera.

The next competitor probably a Moto Defy, it's RM300 more with better specs. After all, I get what I paid for.

You're listing most of the cons eh Well for the pros, i have loads.

1: Vanilla UI. 'Nuff said.
2: Desire Z processor at 2/3 its price.
3: Nice screen.
4: Design is quite feasible.
5: There is a dedicated camera button. Finally.
6: Aluminium cover.

I guessed its summed up? Overall i give a 8.5/10 for this phone. Kenny please update the news and availability from gtrowa and list the pros and cons. Might give readers a better overview of this phone

No, mine is Acer_LiquidMetal_1.001.02_AAP_GEN2, only English and Chinese available.

All android phones are rootable. Difference is how you root it. Gtrowa, you provide the 8gb mem card too?
