over confident b4 draw vs blackburn ...

linesmen really blind ... but thats football

Okay, I got your point. Not being over confident. Getting 1 pt is more than enough for this fixture but we are due for a win at SB. Last time we won there in 2002. Hopefully, we can win over them this weekend and crush their hopes to the ground. 4/5 pts up(provided that Arsenal will having some tough time against Stoke) before our rivals are great at this moment. We could go further when they meet each other next week.

I'm going with 4-4-2 against Chelsea.

VDS and usual back four.
Nani, Carrick, Ando and Park.
Rooney and Berbatov.

BTW, this video is WINN!!!

Raoul Ferdinand and Bryan Giggs!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

We fared well against them in Charity Shield with 4-4-2. Why not for this weekend? With Rooney and Berbatov up front, things could get messy for them. But then again, we could only guess, SAF has the final verdict.

I hope he goes with 4-4-2 with Scholes/Ando - Carrick in midfield. Somehow, I got that sneaky feeling that he might go 4-5-1/4-3-3 with the probability Park will be dropped for Berbatov or Berbatov not playing. I hope my instinct will go wrong on this one.

Oh and yeah, expect Stoke City to put some fight against Arsenal. And, if they do, we might see comments like

"Stoke City players are dirty.."

17(Ars) -8 (Us) fouls for the last match. Which team is dirty again?

09:57 I've just heard from the boss. I can confirm Scholes is out of Sunday's game and we won't see him again until the New Year as he's still struggling with a groin injury. John O'Shea will also miss the trip to Stamford Bridge with a calf strain. Everyone else from Monday's win over Arsenal is available. (GT)

So, no Scholesy for Sunday. Surely a 4-4-2 or still 4-3-3/4-5-1 with Fletcher.

Read from Twitter that Eikrem sold to Molde. Buy back clause, surely?

Yeah, that would've been fun. Hahaha, if only to see Mourinho put the final nail in Rafa's coffin.
Seriously?

hmm.gif Looks like another youth who didn't quite make it?

I think it's meant to give him some playtime rather not making it. After getting rave reviews, I doubt that we will let him go easily. Or, it could be an another Rossi or Pique. sad.gif

I disagree. Instincts telling me that they will struggle with Stoke but play very well against Barcelona. Just my instincts though.

I voted/asked for French clubs because it's nearer to Motherland. No disrespect or whatsoever to them. Like the previous post, last 16 teams are no pushovers.

Less travel time, less fatigue issues. Better performance in the next BPL matches. That's all.

Bright side is, Arsenal's match also postponed. So, we have to take full advantage of next week's fixture. While both of them Chelsea and Arsenal playing each other, we will be facing Sunderland at home.
