Hello there, need some advices.

The alarm clock of G5 is having problem.

It won't turn on by itself unless it is plugged to the charger with the phone turned on. If I leave it overnight (airplane mode) the alarm won't work until I press any button to make it "awake" by that time 10 mins have already passed from the intended alarm time.

However, it works if I test it (example: my current time is 9 am and I set the alarm 5 minutes later). The only thing is that it won't work if the phone is left overnight (more than 6 hours or so).

Any ideas experts out there?

The alarm is handle by a apps call "Clock" (you can found this apps in menu screen)
if you use Advance Task Killer to stop it, the alarm wont work, untill you run it again

OMG, the alarm clock just cant work. Even with Alarm Klock. Is the phone malfunction or just a bug?

SGPC, Alarm Klock installed but I left it for about 20 min.

Example: 9.30 pm, after 20 min 9.50 pm. When I unlocked the screen after 20 min it was still at 9.30 pm for about 1 second than it updated to 9.50 pm. Was the phone sleeping?

also I tried a 15 min alarm setting (meaning that i left the phone for 15 min while waiting the alrm to ring but it did not happen until i unlock the screen).

Is Alarm Klock a 3rd party app?

Hello there, I think I have found the problem that has been causing the alarm not functioning.

Alarm is not working after I created reminders/ events in the Calendar. It will start to work after I turned off and restarted the phone everytime after creating events in the Calendar. Also I have stopped using the built-in Calendar widget. It is working when no events are created in the Calendar and the Calendar widget is not turned on. It is kind of annoying that the phone alarm is not working properly!

Any of you facing this problem?
