ahh i cannot even flash at all. i had download the following;

1. I5500LUYJP2.zip and already extract
2. EUROPA_v1.0.ops
3. Odin Multi Downloader v4.28

after i extracted I5500LUYJP2.zip, these are the files appear:
- I5500LAROJP2.zip, i futher extracted it and the following appear:
- amss
- csc.rfs
- system.rfs
- recovery
- boot

i follow the Samfirmware flash tutorial, it stated

"Open odin.
- Select OPS tab: EUROPA_I5508_v1.0.ops
- Select BOOT tab: I5500XWJG1_BOOTLOADER.tar
- Select PHONE tab: I5500XWJG3_amss_phone_CL462398.tar
- Select PDA tab: I5500XWJH4_PDA_CL500331.tar
- Select CSC tab: I5500SERJH2_CSC_SER_CL498242.tar"

i cannot locate any of the file above which i had extracted earlier;
_BOOTLOADER.tar
_amss_phone_CL462398.tar
_PDA_CL500331.tar
_CSC_SER_CL498242.tar


please help...

i did try to use the 'Select Package' option, it stuck at 'Setup connection' for more than 5 minutes and i thought it failed. how long should i wait?

i stuck in this part for close to 1 hour liao...aii yor...how long should i wait?

i tried other port too, no luck. yes i am in download mode. Press power button + home button + volume down button and it will bring me to a samsung dark screen looks like a dos screen. also there is a wording saying "Dload Mode" "ARM9 MODE"

wow, 2 days now using 2.2, loaded back my favourite apps total of 12 apps and 3 widgets...running smoother than ever...too bad, it is a europe version, was hoping for an original asian version.

one thing i dislike is the battery life...too short.

i am sorry about my previous misleading post, i just hate using mini opera multi tab on my g5 with small screen.

Just wanna share that all capacitive screen are multitouch, it need to be enable from software. No deny, that is the law of capacitive screen.

all capasitive model can support up to only 5 signals of input. the company i am currently working for have a department for apple and android development.

Just a matter of time.

aii yar.relax la, G5 come with a small screen, with or without multitouch is not important la.....but just FYI, all capasitive screen can support multitouch. dun cry baby, come come daddy buy you sweets..:-)

1. Yes, with launcher pro, you can even have the home screen rotate both directions.
2. Never play NFS on it yet. saw a collegue tested it, it was so so.
3. internal speaker is loud enough but dun expect boom boom sound like nokia.
4. video quality does not depend on the player but more on the video compression quality, i personally use divx. i prefer online streaming or download divx movies, because the quality is better.
