Interesting news. Maybe its true. More stable because the russian firmware is a few months newer than our original firmware. There might be a few tweaks here n there. I have one question for bro qunox. How about 3g connection. Is there an option to turn it on n off?But really thanks for the info. |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Nov 30 2010, 09:33 PM) Are you sure? i dun think so.You can use gps without wifi but if you go to airplane mode, then you can't used it anymore because there is no data connection. gps is gps, it uses satellite instead of any radio signal or wireless signal. they use different types of wave. to prove tat, i had ady tested wit my g5, with airplane mode, without even turn on wifi or mobile connection, gps still able to lock. it has 10 bars according to gps test app. even now it is raining at my place, i can lock satellite. so gps has no relation with data connection or phone signal. QUOTE(shadow111 @ Nov 30 2010, 09:48 PM) more stable? although i juz use mine for like a week, so far it's very stable. Well i'm not a programmer or android geek, so i can just give a layman pov. I do think the phone stability determine by which program or feature you use often. For me I'm a heavy user of widget and sync. Last time when i use the malaysian firmware. Sync and widget both got problem, cant sync properly and widget just dont update or give respon. Now when i'm using the russin, my widget behave as they should (rarely error) and no problem in syns what so ever. care to share more on y malaysian firmware nt that stable compare to russian? thanks. QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Nov 30 2010, 09:33 PM) Are you sure? Actually when you goto airplane mode, the radio signal T/R will be terminated. But GPS will still work. Got nothing to do with wireless. You can use gps without wifi but if you go to airplane mode, then you can't used it anymore because there is no data connection.
