My KIES suddenly cant use, and cant be re-install either.
Any settings for dialer? Is my step correct?

1. create new connection
2. Internet
3. Dial Up modem, select Samsung g5
4. In the dial box, *99***1#
5. username: digi
6. pass: leave blank


however, is KIES important or not?

hey guys, have you heard about 3g watchdog?
well, i was messing around with the settings, and i noticed 1 setting where it lets you to deactivate 3g, but keep mms available.. Im using data plan so cant really check if its working how we hope it should work, but some of you that are interested should give it a look.

tested psxdroid, and as we could expected, it lags a sec when I play FF9.
then tested gamedroid, and it works great. testing with pokemon fire red

I been using "GPS Status" to get GPS lock before using Papago, work good for me. This app can be download from Android market. It will download A-GPS data if you have wifi connected and this really help in getting GPS sat lock. Normal lock time is 5s to 15s for me now.

For me kies is not really important. Only used it to cable tethering, most of us here don't really use kies

can u share the psxdroid and also the game rom?

doesnt work, Install 3g watchdog and Apndroid to only recieve MMS but the APN off. Still cant send and receive MMS without enable the internet.
still background apps (that always alive and invisible eat your credit while sending or receiving mms).. :/
but 3g watchdog useful to see and limit your data plan... miss option that only can receive/send mms on android (other phone will be laughing because have that option)..

anyone know apps that can disable all apps that going to the internet off from internet? when you want to use it enable it? did
this apps WUJUD...

task killer only can kill the apps for a while, but after you unlock your phone the apps came alive without any command from you .(ex: facebook and many more, it eat your 3g credit)

this is d main problem on malaysia data plan is 2 expensive if compair to other country...best celcom data p[lan also need to pay rm38 for 1gb

Stable but many bug.

Unless you are willing to spend a lot of time fine tuning the device or even to reflash back to ori it's better to stay with stock until they release the official upgrade.

My papago so weird... wrong direction given.. the correct direction is to turn right.. but the papago instruct me to turn left.. same if i should turn left.. it instruct me to turn right.. hehehe..

anybody know why??

trying to show my fren papago on G5.. he looks interested to buy G5.. but then the GPS show the wrong direction.. hahaha..

is this happened after you install froyo firmware? if yes, the compass in G5 with froyo were wrongly calibrated, i have look at it with several apps and all showing wrong direction. after re-flashed back to eclair all back to normal.
